Rake is a fee that an online poker room charges for providing a service. Unlike other casino games, in poker you don’t play against the house; rake is used to generate revenue for poker rooms.  In ring games, this fee is collected at the end of every hand and called rake. In tournaments this fee is collected before the tournament starts and consists of your tournament entry fee. Tournament fees are also referred to “juice”.

Rakeback is a return on the money that you pay in rake. Receiving rakeback means that 27% of the fees that you pay for your online poker play will be returned to you. Rakeback is paid directly in to your Full Tilt Poker account on a weekly basis.

The following calculation is used to establish each player’s net revenue:

Net Revenue = (Rake + Juice) - Bonus - Player Added Fees - Fraud - Used Points

These terms are defined as follows:

Rake: Ring-game rake

Juice: Tournament fees (In a $10 + $1 Sit & Go, the $1 tournament fee is the juice)

Deduction types:

Bonus: Any portion of a Full Tilt Poker bonus, such as a deposit bonus

Player Added: If you play in a guarantee tournament that doesn't meet the guarantee based on the number of participants, Full Tilt Poker covers the remaining cost and divides the amount of overlay by the number of participants in the tournament

Fees: Full Tilt Poker shares the cost incurred by some payment processors for depositing or withdrawing on the site with its Affiliates; while players aren’t charged for these fees, they are deducted from net revenue

Fraud: Charge backs from credit cards are deducted from net revenue

Used Points: Every time Full Tilt Points are used in the Full Tilt Store or as tournament buy-ins, $0.005 per point is deducted from net revenue

Iron man: While Full Tilt Poker doesn’t make deductions for most Iron Man store purchases, if a player purchases and earns a bonus, purchases Full Tilt Points or tournament tokens and uses them, the standard deductions apply

Players who earn rakeback from RakeBack Pros have 27% of the rake and juice from their play at Full Tilt Poker returned to them.

The amount that a player receives from RakeBack Pros is calculated by Full Tilt Poker based on net revenue, which is a combined total of the player’s rake and juice. Like most poker rooms, Full Tilt Poker may apply certain deductions to net revenue; please see above for more information.

Players earn rakeback by playing in real-money games and tournaments, including Rush Poker.

Rakeback is paid on a weekly basis directly into your Full Tilt Poker account on Fridays. Please note that exact payment times may vary.

The rakeback payment that you receive at the end of the week will account for 27% of the net revenue you have generated in the last rakeback week. The rakeback week starts on Tuesday and finishes on Monday. As such, any rakeback payment you receive will be for the previous week’s play on Full Tilt Poker.

There is no minimum payout for rakeback. Even if your rakeback payment is less than $1 we will still send it to your account.

As rakeback is 27% of your net revenue, having a negative rakeback also means you have negative net revenue. A negative rakeback value will carry over to the next rakeback period(s). As long as your rakeback is a negative value you will not receive rakeback. You will need to generate enough revenue to bring this value back to a positive amount.

The data on our website is normally updated on a daily basis. Your player statistics are updated to include the previous day’s activity as decided by the time zone that the poker room operates in.

Exact payout times may vary each week for rakeback payments. Please be patient as this may be due to time differences. If you are unsure whether you received your rakeback, check your email for a notification from Full Tilt Poker confirming your rakeback payment. Alternatively, log in to your Full Tilt Poker account, go to the Cashier and click on History.

Please note that there are other circumstances that might delay rakeback payments. If your account has been unable to receive incoming transfers at any point during a rakeback period, we will not be able to transfer your payment. In such cases the rakeback that you have accumulated will carry forward to the next rakeback period(s) until we are able to make the transfer in to your account.

Yes! Everyone that signs up at Full Tilt Poker qualifies for this bonus.

Even if you decide to take a break from poker, your account will still be registered with us. Once you start playing again you’ll receive rakeback for your play. However, if you haven’t played in a while, rakeback payments might be delayed since rakeback is calculated based on play from the previous week.
